Global Chief Operating Officer and Global Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Aitken is the global chief operating officer and global chief financial officer for Cross Ocean Partners. Andrew joined the European special situations team as a senior analyst in the research team when it was established at Capula Investment Management  in June 2012. Then he took on his new role and transferred across to Cross Ocean as it was founded in July 2015, helping with the transition and establishment of the new business and its operations.  Prior to this, Andrew was an executive director for the private distressed group (fixed income) at Goldman Sachs where he was recruited to initiate a new effort focussing on distressed loan situations in emerging markets.  Prior to this, Andrew worked for Och-Ziff as a research analyst in the private investments group, where he sourced, researched, structured and monitored private equity and credit investments for the $20 billion global hedge fund’s special situations strategy.  Before this, Andrew was in private equity, as a senior associate at Providence Equity Partners from 2005 to 2007, and, at Blackstone from 2001 to 2003, after being a Goldman Sachs investment banking analyst between 1998 and 2001.
