Cross Ocean Partners is a leading mid-sized specialist credit manager with a global investment team. The firm is led by Graham Goldsmith (Chief Executive Officer and co-Chief Investment Officer) and Steve Zander (Head of Europe and co-Chief Investment Officer). Cross Ocean was established in July 2015 as a partnership between its management team and its minority investor, Stone Point Capital, with a view to building a global credit platform utilizing their experience of investing in credit special situations. The firm has subsequently expanded from its core special situations strategy into senior credit strategies and CLOs.
Graham previously led the global credit businesses of Bank of America (Merrill Lynch) where he worked for over 20 years and for seven of which Steve Zander led the European team. In total, three of the five members of the management committee worked together at Bank of America and the average investment experience of the five portfolio managers is 25+ years each.
The firm has three investment offices, located in: Greenwich, Connecticut, USA; London, UK; and, Dublin, Ireland.
